Twelve years of experience

My Name is Monica Meddings and I have worked in Childcare for twelve years. Before having my facility I worked in a medical laboratory for thirteen years while living in Colombia (Barranquilla) where I was born. I have also worked with the international organization “Doctors Without Borders Holland”. In Colombia I met my husband and got married. Soon after, my son and I moved to the United States to be with my husband. It had always been a dream of mine to have my own business. December 17, 2007 I received my license to start my own business on December 21, 2007, coincidently I received news that I was pregnant with my second child. Taking care of two children motivated me and inspires me to work with children. I help a lot of single and low income parents by providing affordable childcare for their children. It is my new goal to expand my business and continue to provide affordable childcare for more families. The facility is open year round except for holidays and I am a teacher assistant who is studying to get her associate Degree as a Preschool Teacher. My license #376618848 and I have two amazing teacher assistants
